The Book is Always Better

The Book is Always Better

This time of year there’s just so much to get excited about. ย No matter what your ‘cup of tea’ is, there’s something coming ’round the corner to get hyped about: Halloween, snow, hockey, Christmas, skating, skiing, curling, and of course, READING (well, reading is always coming ’round the corner)!

Although I sometimes have mixed feelings about movies based on my favourite books – because, as we all know, the book is always better than the movie – I still get excited when I find out that one of my favourite books is going to be on the big screen.

I’m hoping you’ll think about reading the following books that will soon be in the theatres! ย These amazing books are in our classroom library!

Wonder by R.J. Palacio

A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness

Ready Player One by Ernest Cline

Chaos Walking Series by Patrick Ness
There’s no trailer yet, but here’s an announcement about the actors who will star in the film.

No trailers yet, but “The Sky is Everywhere” by Jandy Nelson, “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” by Jenny Han, and “Legend”ย by Marie Lu are also books that will be made into movies.
